This section of the Volksweg Trail is not for the leisurely Sunday bike rider. It is full of hills, curves and some shade. The views are of wild flowers and beautiful Red Rock Lake. I encountered a women lying on the path and resting after one of the steeper inclines. The trail links three campgrounds, the marina, a swimming beach and several parks. You can extend your trip and continue into the historic city of Pella.
